BBPIS/BBPIG/MBPIG - GCH DesertWind's Alpha X Orpheus - the Best of Both Worlds
Alpha is out of our beautiful girl Lasquite's Ask'er V Kasper and by the amazing GCH Orpheus du Grand Blettay CGN PCD She was born in March, 2016
In July of 2017 Alpha became a Canadian Grand Champion!
Alpha won her BBPIG at the AKC Show in August of 2016 under Judge Bonnie Linnell-Clark from Holly Springs, NC. Bonnie had nothing but good things to say about Alpha.
She then went on to win BBPIS under Judge Arley Hussin from Arvada, CO. Arley was in love with her too!
What an amazing weekend for the Saints of Desert Wind!
CH DesertWind's Alpha X Orpheus.
She was the first born out of my first litter and now, the first champion out of the litter too! So happy I named her appropriately, and so so so proud of my little girl! The best part is, she has been handled by me for all of her points! There were a total of 5 Saints Shown:
CH Orpheus du Grand Blettay,
CH DesertWind's Alpha X Orpheus (8½ mos),
DesertWind's Ambitious Viking (Ragnar - 8½ mos & now 1 point shy of his Championship)
and two other female puppies
Orpheus won Best of Breed 5 of the 6 Shows. The 6th show, he went Best Opposite to his daughter, Alpha.
Alpha went Best of Winners the first two shows, and Best Opposite to her Daddy for the first 5 shows. She also won Best puppy in Breed, bested once, by her littermate Ragnar. 3 times, she won Puppy group
Ragnar wasn't to be left out. He won Best of Winners 4 times
The three Desert Wind Saints took top 3 spots in all 6 shows.
Alpha has now started earning her first AKC points! We went to Spokane and Coeur d'Alene in May of 2017.

Alpha won Best Puppy in Group three times in November 2016 at Prince Albert!
Thank you Dr. John Reeves Newton for Alpha's first point! Alpha won BOB over her littermate DesertWind's Ambitious Viking (aka Ragnar) at the Battle River show in October 2016. This was their first class as Junior puppies and the first chance at earning points

We had an amazing show in Lethbridge (Nov 2016) and to be honest, we are thrilled with our girl!. Friday, Alpha was awarded Best of Breed by Judge Sharon Derrick, over a class of very nice Saints. We went on to puppy Sweepstakes and took second place honors. Thank you Donna McLaughlin for placing our baby. Judge Richard Paquette agreed with Sharon and awarded Alpha with Best again, on Saturday. Sunday, Judge Cheryl Myers-Egerton gave Alpha Reserve. We wanted to thank all the judges who recognized us this weekend.
